Question 1

Is ProxyVote com safe to use?

Accepted Answer

ProxyVote com is the official voting platform used by many companies, and it requires your control number to access your ballot. As with any website that handles personal information, make sure the address is correct, avoid sharing your number with strangers, and never enter a password or payment information on a page that asks for it during voting.

Question 2

Can I vote on ProxyVote com without signing in?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, yes. Your control number is enough to cast a vote. Signing in or creating an account is usually only needed for extra features like submitting questions or managing delivery preferences.

Question 3

What if my control number is not working?

Accepted Answer

Double-check every digit and make sure you are using the number from the correct meeting. If it still fails, call the phone number on your materials or contact the company's proxy solicitor. Representatives can often confirm your holdings and help you vote.

Question 4

How do I know my vote was counted?

Accepted Answer

Look for the confirmation message after you submit. You can also check the final results in the company's SEC filings after the meeting.

Question 5

Can I change my vote after I submit it?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes, as long as you do it before the deadline. Enter your control number again and submit the new choices. The most recent vote generally replaces the earlier one.

Question 6

What is the deadline for voting?

Accepted Answer

Most meetings close voting at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the day before the meeting. The exact deadline is printed in your materials, and it is worth checking early.

Question 7

Can I attend the meeting and vote in person?

Accepted Answer

Many companies now hold virtual meetings where you can vote during the event. You will usually need your control number to log in, and the meeting link is provided in the proxy materials.
